The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Victorious Family Parish-VFP, Strood started in May 2004 at the former st Mary’s Primary school along Gun lane, Strood. Since then to the glory of God, the church is growing from strength to strength. Our desire is to provide the enabling environment for the abundant life of God to be an experience for all peoples.
VFP adheres to the mission of the RCCG worldwide:
- We are called to make heaven and to take as many people as possible with us to heaven;
- We are called to live a completely holy life;
- We are called to preach the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to all the corners of the earth
- We are called to plant as many churches as possible to take the word of God to as many as possible.
As a church, we believe the Lord called us to be part of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, to make an impact on our community and nation, to awaken divine destinies in people and to breed excellence through the power of Christ and His Word. This has been the underlying vision that has made us as a church to identify and fellowship with other parts of the body in the Medway towns. We are active members of the CTIM (Churches together in Medway) and support local initiatives and ministries in the body such as food bank, Compassion, CAP to mention a few.
We aim to bring the love of God to every family in our communities by providing a church home where those hurting, depressed, frustrated and confused can find love, care and support. Jesus said, He has come to give life abundantly to all who come to Him, why not come to Him today.
It is our dream to make each parish relevant to the community where they are located and support local initiatives from fellow Churches in the area. there is something for everyone and all ages.
